Tips to stay Healthy this Winter!

Winter in Germany could be bad in some cities although many cities do not see much snowfall. Here are some tips to stay healthy during this season.

1.Breakfast

Try to have a healthy breakfast everyday. A Bowl of hot Porridge is a good option during winter. Add fruits like banana or berries to elevate the taste. Many people tend to skip breakfast, which is a bad idea especially during winter. A healthy breakfast is very essential for an active start of the day.

2. Milk

Your immunity must be good during the winter season as you might be prone to cold. Milk and dairy products are a good source of protein, several vitamins and calcium.

3. Food rich in Iron

Iron rich foods like lentils, red meat and green leafty veggies support your immunity. Try to get all your iron requirements by natural food sources.

4. Tiredness

As the nights are long and days are short, it is easy to feel tired, especially in the mornings. Try to go to sleep and wake up at the same time every day. Go out for a short walk when there is daylight.

5. More Sugar instead of Soups

Don’t be surprised! One of the toughest sacrifice,

It is SOUPS instead of Sugar. Especially during winter, you might get the craving for sugary and comfort foods which is pretty normal. And yes, sugar is always not good, so try to exchange it with rooty veggie soups.
