How much is your rent compared to the median rent in Berlin?
The one topic everyone is talking about currently is “Apartment hunting and the rising cost of it”. Here we present the district wise median rent in Berlin, but instead of getting shocked about the results, it is always good to be satisfied and feel lucky if you have an apartment already as many newcomers are struggling to find one.
The following are the rankings based on the median cold rent (Kaltmiete) in €/m2 by a report of Berlin HYP and CBRE . Median is the value lying at the midpoint of the distribution. Do not forget that cold rent excludes other expenses like heating, electricity and so on.
